Suspension upgrade

Just thought I would share my suspension upgrade to my E85 3.0i 2003, Ive just fitted a Bilstein B12 sport kit, thats B8 shocks and lowered eibach springs -30mm allround, the height doesnt appear to have changed much at all, as I already had sports suspension on it (-15mm), however the shocks although passed the MOT ok were extremely tired, the fronts didnt even come back up on their own all all were very easy to compress. Certainly the originals. Once fitted a quick bounce on the corners indicated quite a stiff reponse, oh gawd I thought theyre gonna shake me fillings out! But no the ride is brilliant compared to before and the handling is transformed when pushing it, I'm well happy, highly recommended.

I need to do mine, found a broken spring over the weekend so it’s bumped up my to do list.

I’m looking at B12 and BC racing at the moment and not quite decided yet

The BC route appears a fair bit pricier than the B12 kit, I looked at a few different coilover brands but decided to go with a name & reputation I knew.

I have the B8 shocks on my E89 with OE MSport springs..utter transformation..much better ride n handling..

I'm the same, undecided yet. I had koni yellows on my last e85 and thought they were great but do wonder about the other options as b12s or bc racing does sound tempting
