Hello guys

I've had the car about 5 months now and the only real niggle is the horrible bouncy ride, makes passengers burp!

So today the car is on flat, level concrete drive and very noticeably the is squatting at the back.
I have measured from the arch to the wheel rim, the rear is 11mm and the exact same place the front is 13 mm

Question is should they be equal so the cars it's level?

It's the same when the roof is up or down
Car is 3.0 e85, 2004

Help most welcome luke

Well I have looked with the car jacked up previously and there doesn't look like any sheers, spiral of the springs gets smaller towards bottom where it sits on the shock

I know it's sport as there's a blue paint mark
But with nothing in the boot and low fuel shouldnt the car sit
level?

I will upload photos when i get back at home dave

Always wondered this - the back end on mine looks higher than the front. Rear springs were replaced by BMW in 2012...

Car shouldn't sit level.

Correct way to measure is as follows:-

'TIS states the standards with 18" wheels with sports suspension are 602mm (front) and 588mm (rear) for E85. The height is measured from the lower flange of wheel (not the ground) to lower edge of wheel arch, with 2x68kg at the seats, 14kg in the boot and full tank of fuel. The difference between left and right should not be greater than 10mm.'

I'll do that measurement tomorrow sorry don t mean 11 and 13 mm meant to write 110 and 130 meaning 20 mm difference

Lilly white thank you for that info, what's the height with with standard set up as I'm thinking about changing the whole Lot to non sports the green mark

Anyone no a rough price and where? Ill try ajaar car parts they're usually brilliant and really helpful guys
