Suspension a bit floaty...

This may be a bit vague, but here goes!

I've had my E89 (2014 20i) for a couple of years and I've found the ride/suspension a bit, and the best word I can think of is, floaty and perhaps a bit 'wallowy' at the rear. Not very confidence inspiring and/or consistent. I know the e89 is perhaps a bit more of a tourer than the e85s I've come from before, so I'm not sure if it's just normal and I'm expecting too much, or if something is actually up with the suspension.

The car also doesn't sit 100% level, with rear wheel arch gaps just over 1 cm difference right to left.

Any thoughts, much appreciated!

By this time it could be anything…damaged springs, someone just changed one spring, incorrect spring fitted, dampers shot..

My guess shot dampers ..but need a good look at them springs..

My 2012 20i MSport at 2017 were shot

My 2011 35is at 2022 were f£eked beyond all belief
