Surrey/Berks/Hants Meet - 11 November 2018

Now we're into November is seemed like a good time to mention the regular general car/bike meets at the Black Swan in Ockham that some of us have attended, as the next one will be on Sunday 11 November.

Full details are The Black Swan, Old Lane, Ockham, Surrey. KT11 1NG. Phone: 01932 862364. (Old Lane is a turning off the Southbound A3 just after J10 of the M25).

They open at 08.30 for breakfast, bacon rolls, tea and coffee so any time after that will be fine.

And this time we can expect to have forum member TONYMOR on marshalling duty!

Hopefully the weather will behave.

The last time I went (which was also my first) there was the most eclectic mix of cars - a Ferrari F40, Lambo Diablo, 1950's Rolls Royce, Mark 1 Lotus Cortina, plus of course 4 Zed 4's. Plenty of room for a few more Zeds!

The weather was a lot better than expected.a good selection of interesting cars but sadly only a few zeds.
Maybe December 9 will see a bigger turnout.

Sorry, last time I checked the forecast on Saturday it looked terrible so I didn’t bother to set a morning alarm.

Suprised t see the sun this morning when I woke up, so took the coupe out for a blast up to Thame instead to see my mum!

Yes, apologies from me too - I checked the forecast around 10.30 pm on Saturday and BBC Web had those black clouds with drops falling until 3 pm today so I also didn't set the alarm!

Yet at around 10 am today it was bright and dry!

I was already scheduled to visit my mum so took the Z4, but within minutes of leaving home at 2 pm it was p*ssing down - so my Z4 got a bit dirtier.
