Anyone going to this? I've managed to get the M a pass somehow!

Same date as Duxford Flimper, which I think a load of people are going to :(

I'm not even going to that, I have to go to Twickenham instead :cry:

Didn't even see that Duxford thread, always seem to be clashes when we only have a short window of sunny opportunity :(

True, but Supercar Sunday is one of the highlights of my year, the meet at 6am at Guildford cathedral is a thing of beauty
 
I'm going Flimper :) 6am meet at Guildford you say...never knew of it! I usually get on the a283 early though and have a cracking drive down through Petworth to Chichester! I'm sure Rick Rob will be up for convoying too...!

Mine too has been accepted - rather bizarre as I thought I was applying for Soft Top Sunday!

I am not yet 100% certain I can make it, but should be OK.

Glad to see a few more going, the 6am meet is a Pistonheads thing that has happened in the past, not seen it for this year yet though
 
Well if you're up for a convoy I live in Milford, so on the A283. Always keen to meet other zed enthusiasts :D you wouldn't take me for a cheeky spin in yours as well would you? :P
 
Sure, always happy to share the experience :) Will wait and see what transpires with the PH meet, if not be happy to go down with anyone else from here :driving:

Well good morning everybody.... The sun is shining (somewhere above the rain clouds) and Goodwood is calling :P
 
Flimper you tart, me and Rick gave you a wave when you were driving up the straight to leave and you ignored us!

Not a bad day out, periodically caught up with an interesting convoy on the way down (Lamborghini Murcielago, Mercedes-Mclaren SLR, 996 gt3 rs, 997gt2, and a Ferrari of some sort. Laughably they all got caught behind a Mazda Mx5 doing 35mph - looked like he was leading the convoy for a while :P

No photos from me sadly, although Rick definitely got a few snaps in between deluges. Weather was bloody awful!

Rick then managed to get his roadie stuck in the mud briefly when taking me back into the carpark field to my car (I can't walk far with my knackered leg). Thankfully he managed to free himself without any assistance, and we both made it out of the field again with no issues!

And so on to spotteds - who's was The Red MC in the paddock? And there was a silver MC somewhere about too? And a black MR I'm the carpark?

Good day out, good to catch up again Rick, looking forward to the next one already - hopefully in significantly better weather!!
 
I did see you, but you took me by surprise :) Thought it must have been a Z4 type chappy but didn't recognise you! Will put up a few piccies in a bit
 
Anything is a surprise for flimper … he is so busy trying to get lost that he has no eyes for anyone else. Surely Rick must remember from the trip a few weeks back … :evil:
