Sunglasses holder

I seem to have broken the catch on the sunglasses holder on my Z4MC which is now hanging down and annoying the s**t out of me - anyone out there know if there is a replacement catch to be bought anywhere or will I have to try and get the whole thing? If so, where can I get one?
 
StuartC posted about this fairly recently when his mate broke his. You can get replacements but they are stupidly expensive - about £130 from memory.

I have found the part on Mini parts - £193.01 + Vat!!! Will use bluetac or super glue the thing shut rather than get ripped off. Stupid thing is, you can't fit any sunglasses in there anyway!
 
Mine has broken but closed, it won't open. Luckily enough I had taken my sunglasses out and was just closing it (yes, my sunglasses actually fit in there!). Is it worth trying to get it open again or if I do will it just hang down?

Agreed with the above, that's a ridiculous amount of money for what is a rectangular box. Does anyone have a 3D printer? Wonder if you could print a catch? I'd be interested if so. Doesn't need to have a perfect finish as it wouldn't be seen. It just needs to be functional.
 
When I had my coupe, established day one that none of my sunglasses fitted.

Never touched it after that & spent the whole time wondering when they would fall from the ever so small door pockets!

First aid box will be ordered soon for the drivers side
 
It isn't big enough for my aviator style glasses, hence why my mate ended up breaking it. Luckily it just came apart and I was able to fit it back together. Would've been expensive as well as annoying otherwise.
