Sun Visor Upgrade?

Had my first experience of driving the Z in some low sun yesterday and found the tiny sun visors completely inadequate. In fact, they are so small that they are completely pointless unless I put the seat up as high as it will go.

Is there an easy upgrade to slightly bigger ones? I appreciate they are small so that when the fold away they don't stick out too much, but they way they are now I may as well take them off.

Maybe there's a way of having them double-fold or something?

I would (well did) just buy some decent polarised sunglasses. 8) Great think is they also work with the roof down!

I know I'm being a bit silly - but in all seriousness I wouldn't be without my Oakleys. I used to have a 1hr drive East towards ipswich every morning and a 1hr drive back in the evening. Was getting really bad headaches when the sun was low (either rising am or setting pm) until I bought them.

i thought this exact thing yesterday (also 1st day of low sun) but i have a feeling its just a like it and lump it situation (or wear sunnies) :(

Something like this?

I don't particularly have a problem with head on sun, but I'd love to be able to block low sun coming in through the driver's side window - as this is the first car I've had where the visor doesn't swing out.

Yep, I know I need to get some sunglasses. I will never spend money on an expensive pair, just a waste of money for me as I always break them within a few months.

So, I'll go and get some sunglasses from Boots and then look into the extension bit mmm-five posted.

Thanks chaps.

Hi you could also get a window tint sun strip installed to the inside of the screen. The beauty of it is you can still see thru it. You must remember to use window tint as its so much clearer.A06CDA8A-ED2F-454E-B02C-589AB19E3448_zpscunwcbfw.jpg
With it fitted inside it doesn't affect the wipers and doesn't get scratched.
Oh and by the way only £15 :D

I bought a cheap pair of wrap-around glasses from Next. Good for the summer, but not tried in low sun.
