I hope summer isn't over but after waiting all winter to remove the hardtop I miss the looks so it will be on for a couple of days, first time with the m bumper too.20160726_184428.jpg20160726_184418.jpg20160726_184442.jpg

Should have bought a Coupe if you don't like the wind in your hair! :poke:

I love the wind in my hair or I would do if I had any ! :D The Zed definitely looks best hood down but it's a close second with a h/t on in my opinion.

Been there and done that but only kept the HT on for about 3 weeks before deciding that I would have a coupé for some days and a Roadster for most other days. Since sold the coupé and have an E89 which goes "both ways" as required.

Looking good there Rally - I'd be swapping and changing more often if the missus was strong enough to help me lift it on and off. (she manages to take it off but have to have a mate round to help lift it on  )

I love the look with the hardtop on ,i once kept it on for 6 years ,maybe i should have bought a coupe . :poke:
But its off this summer

After 6 years without cycling the roof motor did it still work? I'm concerned about the 5 months I will have the HT on over the winter

There needs to be a rule that hard tops have to be removed from April to October inclusive.

Marlon removed his and we got summer - thanks Marlon.

OP puts his on and it starts raining.

And the coupe owners probably aren't helping either!

Would it help if I promised to open my windows every time I use the Z4? :poke:

It does look good with the hardtop on makes me want one, but I love the wind whistling round my ears and sometimes
through my hair thats if the wind goes down my T shirt or jumper

Yes please and if you could put your right elbow on the top of the door that will also help. That is because sunshine is created by human flesh being exposed to the air. You only have to look on a tourist beach in the Med to have proof of this! :P

i left mine on at one point for nearly 16 months.... hood worked fine but was very very creased.

Good to know - I can live with creases so long as the motor doesn't seize.

Zed cleaned and waxed today hardtop removed and stored away then a lovely summers evening drive with the top down. I love the hardtop but you can't beat driving with the top down. :driving: IMG_20160731_203545.jpg
