Summer Evening Snaps

Well, after missing out on the hoon Sunday due to a VERY daft error on my end, I felt saddened and that I should at least give the zed a bit of love, a bit of a blast, and a few pictures all by myself

Location is nothing special, as taking photos took a back seat to enjoying a few roads.

Recently had new kidney grilles, headlights, rear badge, just little bits and bobs.

Plan is to hopefully fit a facelift front bumper and be done with it near enough, except for a half decent iPod interface for a z4 without nav (suggestions please?)

C&C always welcome.

That car looks proper tidy  love that amerone too, lovely colour with silver

Thanks mate, I've put more than I should have into getting it to a standard I'm happy with. But it's worth it sometimes.

+1 on the Amerone.

Great pictures Rob. Personally I think the pre-facelift front end is perfection. The round fogs, simple lines and with the rear, those spot indicators are as close to the original concept car the designers created. Pound for pound, the purest form of a Z4 roadster IMO.

...did I say how much I love that interior?!

Thanks chaps, well that's certainly put something new into my head, I was 100% set on the facelift bumper, now I'm not so sure... :-/ Damn you!

I do quite like the facelift look front, how the lines follow the wing etc.

Cars looking great! Nice pics.

One thing I would say is that pole is very distracting, looks like it's growing out of the car. I would shop it! :)

I agree Tom, funnily enough being sort of chilled out/almost half asleep, I didn't even notice it til I got home

Just had a message confirming w/c 20th June. Can't wait, the nice weather is killing me and I'm buzzing to get back in a drop top!

I already have a stubby, grilles, new wheel centres (and new wheels - but I don't know if I like them) and a gaptech to fit. Eibachs or FK's on the shopping list. And getting it booked in for a backbox delete ASAP. Hahaha... I have a problem.

Mental! I look forward to a backbox delete, wanted to see what it's like!

What wheels???

OEM 18" Style 162's, optional on the e90/e92 335i.

Only seen them on 2 zed roadsters before, both in the states... But I still can't make up my mind on them, so may sell them on.

Interesting choice, Look forward to seeing what they look like... if it needs some wheels, you're welcome to borrow my style 32's?

"Interesting choice" is polite for - WTAF are they!!!

Already has what look like m6/1 series reps with good tyres, so I'll be happy for a few weeks before the modding bug really bites. Very kind offer though mate.

Lovely photos and as already commented - a lovely take on a classic Zed.

My favourite shot is the third low rear view - nice shot.

:driving:
