Sudden drop in fuel economy...

My Z4 2.5i's fuel economy suddenly went downhill. I always used to get 500km on a tank. The last 2 tanks, I only managed 440/450 km. Same driving style (in fact, I tried to go more easy) and same routes. Any idea what could be causing this?

The car is due for an oil change very soon, maybe that's why?

Binding brakes? Air filter clogged? More traffic than usual? Tyre pressures?

Have you had anything done to the car? Trying to think what might have changed

A couple of outer factors: tyre pressure? , out door temp gone up?, Maybe the maf needs cleaning?

Left something heavy in the boot? Or been for a hoon recently and the computer being slightly confused? Takes a while for it to settle.

Had nothing done to the car, I did however clear the error codes due to the airbag light. Maybe that reset the measure and will take some time to settle?

I don't suppose you could have done something else accidentally whilst you were doing that?

No, there isn't anything that could have gone wrong. Also, there was some time in-between. I could it could be oil or sparkplugs. The car is due for Inspection 2 soon so I will see how it goes afterwards
