At least with an acre of bonnet in front of us, us Z4 drivers should be reasonably OK in a head-on. There's no substitute for metal, is what my father-in-law always says, and was totally against us buying a Toyota Aygo (slightly smaller than a Yaris) for the wife - we didn't.
