Im running my Style 32's with 20mm rear & 15mm front

If I went for spacers would I need longer wheel bolts ? And can I keep my locking wheel bolts ? :scratchhead:

The spacers need longer bolts yes, so you can't keep your locking wheel nuts.

The bolts generally come as part of the package with spacers , once fitted i doubt you would ever want them off :wink: a wider stance is like magnifying the wheel as it fills the arch better

Thanks. But I'm too lazy to order the stuff, take wheels off, refit wheels, resolve loss of wheel locks. Time for stuff like that is reserved for my E30 front bumper.

Yeah MV2's (or style 135 as we now them on the european mainland) have 18x8 et47 & 18x8,5 et50. Will fit with a 12mm spacer in the front & 15mm spacer in the back with no issues. (effectivily this makes it et35 front & et35 rear)

Stupid question - why are MV2's called MV2's when this is not the official BMW name ?

No clue, tell me! Only thing i can think of that MV2's are aftermarket wheels.

That lightness is noticeable too - isn't it

TBH only when carrying the wheels in and out of the garage !

They are noticeably lighter when picked up and that has to translate to un-sprung weight which is one of the goals of all manufacturers of sports cars so it's a winner even when it's hard to discern the difference on the road - every little helps (ask Colin Chapman)

I never knew that Colin Chapman founded Tesco!
