I know this is pretty basic spec, but a 35i with less than 2000 miles!!

Is that cheap or expensive? I'm guessing perceved here as cheap. Still a lot for of money for a 4 year old mass produced car. As always it's worth what someone will pay.

Cheap imo , a 35i in manual guise is a rare thing especially later on in the model run & with ridiculously low miles i'm not surprised it sold so swift

A four year old 300 hp Bmw that would have been over £40k new.

New 40i Z4 is £48k Bare bones.

The ///MR was over 40k new. Bought mine with 12k on the clock, when it was 2 1/2 years old for £21.5k

Maybe I was lucky. :D

A well specced low mileage 35i at 4 years old should be worth 20k~. That one is very spartan, I didn't think you could even order an E89 without the iDrive on the later models.

The low mileage is a huge plus, but I can see several marks on the front bumper and there looks like some nasty damage to the passenger side trim on the armrest. Not had an easy 1800 miles! Also lack of use can have its own set of problems, you might not get the wear and tear of suspension components but long periods without running aren't good for the engine.

Not so sure that is a good buy with the release of the new Z4.
I have received my VIP invite from BMW to test drive the new Zed last week so it is imminent.

I wonder what the car has been doing all this time..
