Hey folks, anyone recommend somewhere in the UK I can buy myself a stubby from? Its for a 58 Coupe - but I dont think that it makes much difference between models does it?

Cheers M'Dears,

Mark

Search ;)

mangowalk on ebay, Peugeot, Lexus, many seem to fit as the thread size is fairly standard.

Ta. Searching is great on here - well, except its not unless your criteria is a certain length! - but its kills the community spirit! Once again, rather than search we could use some kind of organized "library" of properly cataloged info for all this kind of commonly asked junk - IMHO obviously. :D

The key to using any search engine is selecting the correct search criteria ;)

Basically the majority of us go for the Mangowalk aerial from ebay, the delivery time is about a week so don't be scared of the fact it's coming from the states.

searching for "stubby" produces all the results you could ever need.....
I know what you mean about community spirit, but it'll just end with everyone getting annoyed with repeating the same answer, to the same question, every other day :)

Like the idea of a "library".. a forum wiki would be good :)

Hi!

I just got one of these from Ebay..... located in the UK and arrived within 2 days of paying  Its about 6.5cm long (not including the thread) and looks good. I will report back once I have fitted it later about radio reception etc.

Stubby looks great. Although the reception ever so slightly dips on the odd occasion..

I have one on my car, but have thought of changing it for something with a tad better reception.

See http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=15011 less than £6 from your local Peugot dealer and appears to have no reduction in performance.

I went for the mangowalk last month and it arrived in 11 days and looks great. I would recommend that.
