hey , just had a thought, anyone seen or tried a sharks fin roof ariel on a coupe, i suppose you would need to lose the stubby on the rear wing.... :exitright: :exitright:

Kill it with fire. I had a moment of panic when I ordered mine and phoned up the dealer to tell them that if the Bluetooth came with a shark's fin, I'd rather delete the Bluetooth.
 
I've seen photos of a coupe on here with a shark fin. I've forgotten whose it is though. Needless to say it looks wrong

NO,NO, NO, not unless you want to be mistaken for a maxpower reader!!!
 
It might (or might not) look good, but would it work? The shark's fin is meant as a telephone aerial, not for radio.

Best option in my view is the standard whippy.

Although who nicked its windbreak? I thought they all came with one as standard. The Alpina logo in the weave was a real eye catcher

75% as functional. It uses an internal coil and I ran a wire all along the boot seal, creating a larger reception area to compensate for the lack of a whip. Chose this particular fin for it's proper integration with the car's rear spoiler design, plus the fact that the fender is angled, so a tall fin wouldn't sit up vertically.

This model is an OE fin off a 2010 North American Honda Accord.

Anything special about connecting the cables? I would assume some cut and splice of the wires would be required? Thanks for the source info.
