Well after being told I was stingy I thought I would go for the official stubby.

Bit disapointed as in real life it looks like any ebay one for a fiver although came in an official box.

It doesnt have the ridges on like the one I purchased shown above - have emailed the seller to ask why its different to picture - I am sure those ridges would have made the car go faster :P

That's what my official one looks like, I was expecting it to be rounded on top like the pictures I've seen from BMW, but hey ho! It still looks much much better than the whip in my opinion, don't ya think?

I bought one a few weeks ago from Ebay, really good price, fits perfectly and does gives much better reception.

I'm sure there's a joke about being your stubby being ribbed for pleasure in there somewhere.

Sorry, couldn't resist

Did you find this a tight fit? I ordered the same one and it won't screw all the way down, well certainly not as easy as the standard aerial and don't want to force it and knacker the thread.

I prefer my Peugeot one which was less the £4
Do you have a link to the peugeot one?

Or better still a picture.??
sorry for the late reply. Its the same as the one others have put a link up for. I paid £3.98 inc postage almost 2 years ago tho. I am sure my supplier was a Peugeot specialist.

Have you tried taking it off and seeing if the thread will screw further into the base or Ariel? I am not sure which way round the tread is

This is the one I bought, little bit more expensive than some but it works fine and I can see no difference in reception compared to the whippy.
