Stubby aerial loss of radio reception

Stop listening to AM stations and tune to FM as the FM aerial is in the rear of the bumper. Wing aerial just receives AM, except when FM reception is poor and then it takes over.

I would check the FM aerial is correctly fitted and working.

If you don't travel through poor FM reception areas, then the stubby is fine - otherwise you'll need the OEM one.

I never listen to MW/LW, but found the same happened to FM stations in certain parts of the country, and quickly put my non-stubby back on.

i mainlt listen cd's however i do love listening to talksport which is a sketchy quality at the best of times so any tips to improve stubby reception will be helpful
