Last time I saw this happen was when someone purchased a beat up CatD. Sourced second hands parts from members and ebay and rebuilt it on his drive. Then tried to sell it on here later as a perfect car, professionally rebuilt, etc etc. He tried to hide his tracks.He deleted posts, but I put the key ones back

Not sure if they are truly archived on the forum. In the case I cited I had the images of the wrecked car several pm's and cc replies so the poster removed all evidence, but still left a food set of footprints.

In this case as there's no overt effort to deciwce, etc. I'd just count it as eccentric or pissed off behaviour.
