Strange steering feel when turning

I have a slight issue that I notice only when turning i.e. roundabouts or sweeping bends. It's a really tricky one to explain and it's sort of similar to this issue here - http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=63722 whereby there feels like something slightly wiggling my steering wheel, like somebody else is trying to steer. It doesn't cause any issues on the road and it's only slight so I don't feel as though it's anything serious but I'd like to get to the bottom of it.

Going in a straight line I don't get that feeling and it doesn't pull left or right if I remove my hands from the steering wheel.

Any ideas what could be the issue?

it maybe "sticky steering" as some people call.. google it you'll get lots of information on it

Don't think it's that. Looking at "sticky steering" it appears those are sticky or notchy in feel i.e. not smooth. Mine, even when it's happening still feels smooth in the feel but just like something is pulling at the steering wheel very very slightly. So blooming hard to explain. I think it's a case of if you've had it you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

Brake reaction bushings, on the rear of the front wishbones.
£160 tops, though a relatively simple DIY to replace the whole arms for £200 (£450 if you're paying someone).

Is it defo that do you think? Wouldn't that also cause the car to wander or vibrate (sorry not all that techy and not really sure what I'm on about!!). Looking at the paperwork provided by the previous owner, at the last MOT in March it did have to have a lower suspension arm and about 20,000 miles ago (5 years) it had the front arm bushes replaced.

Don't know if any of what I've just said has any relevance to the issue?!

Easiest way to tell is jack up the front wheel and see if you can move the wheel forward and backwards. The wishbone is like a boomerang with a pivot in the middle and your wheel at one end and the lollipop bush at the other. Mine moved about an inch either way.
