Strange M wheel without the logo?

Seen this on eBay. It looks like a fat M wheel but there’s no logo in the middle vertical bit? Never seen one like it before? Real? Some sort of Frankenstein?

It looks real apart from the spokes... and the weird thing is normal steering wheel trim pieces aren’t interchangeable. Well side ones are I think. But not the centre one

Plenty have used those trim pieces on the M sport wheel. The bottom doesn’t fit correctly and some trim it to fit better.

I thought m steering Wheels had the tri colored stitching. Can’t really see if that does or not

There are some subtle differences between an m wheel (fitted to m models obviously ) and the m sport steering wheel. They're the same basic wheel in terms of thickness and spoke covers however the m one has nicer leather from the factory and a tri colour stitching option.
