Strange intermittent worn bearing noise behind drivers seat PROBLEM SOLVED

This topic is mentioned elsewhere but I felt as its a major irritant for some members , as it has annoyed me ever since we had our E89 , I noticed this annoying intermittent strange wirring / worn bearing noise coming from behind the drivers seat , I had a vague idea where it was coming from , "the fuel tank" , . I took the car to Ryebrook Warwick , I did this twice , and surprise suprise it would stop as soon as I got there , and subsequent attempts by the techs failed to locate it , I thought I was stuck with this noise , untill now , we did not use the car over Christmas , however when the wife used the car filled it to the top with fuel ,I went to put it away as usual , started the engine , then this bloody noise started again :headbang: , to make matters worse the warranty expires at the end of Feb this year , :-x this time the noise seemed more pronounced , so as usual I booked the car in to be looked at , but this time we did not use the car untill Saturday morning when I took the Zed to Ryebrook in the faint hope one of the techs would be able to hear this dam whirring noise , driving there the noise continued , parked up at Ryebrooks got the tech out , advising him of the storey , he sat in the passenger seat and I started it up , and heaven be praised , Allah Ahkbar ,No I'm not in the God Squad ,the tech heard this bloody noise :yeah: , his first thought was a chaffing exhaust , but still the noise persisted I couldn't believe my luck , any way we did not use the car again untill Monday Morning the 11th when I drove it to Ryebrooks and still the whirring/,worn bearing noise persisted , I couldn't believe my luck , Later that afternoon , I had the phone I had been dreading , Jodie Wilkinson the chap on the service desk gave me the news I wanted to hear , they had found the problem , wait for it folks , "THE FUEL SENDER UNIT" was the cause of all the problems   it's a bit of kit that fits on the side of the fuel tank , it's £350 + Fitting + Vat , but it was done for me under the warranty , phew that was close call , I may be imagining this but the engine seems to run better now , This bloody noise was an absolute effing pain and it spoilt my driving pleasure of an other fantastic car when it occurred , I also have to say helpful Jodie  :  Was when my wife had problems with the auto gearbox of the Loan car , he had the patience of a saint , and when my wife said she did not feel safe with it he found her a manual car , we could not have asked for a better experience , :D  :driving: the closest I found was the service dept at Listers Toyota in Stratford u Avon a few years ago.
A big thanks to the staff at Ryebrook Warwick for being patient with me and this problem. :D
