strange blobs

Cleaning some bird poo off the bonnet and looking down the bonnet to check it had not left a blemish noticed what looked like 3 small blobs near the front of the car, like a small drop of water but not as high, rubbed it with a cloth, nothing, tried my nail same, even tried the edge of a plastic ice scraper, nothing, can't think what they are, have now noticed 2 more in another spot
I have had paint blisters on old cars and these are nothing like that, I have had the car since March and never noticed this before but must admit only hand cleaned it about 3 times, usually take it in a local handwash.
I leave my car reversed on my drive which has a canopy over the entrance which is over the bonnet when parked, I was thinking wood resin dropping but looking up the wood looks dry and clean. Any ideas what they could be and best way to remove.

It could be tree sap or honeydew (aphid crap) - honeydew becomes harder to remove the longer it's left

Tardis may help but you should definitely be able to remove either of those by claying
