Coldel, these have some sort of coating on them s they are scratch resistant

Just received a text message saying I should expect a delivery, from DHL, from Element One Engineering.

A bit of internet digging and I've found that Element One have the exact same postal address as.....Storm Motorwerks.
So it looks like my gear knob is en route and due to arrive on Monday.

Fingers crossed!!

Always try to keep your ring well clear of a knob. :roll:

I was! I tried placing my ring close but not on the knob, but the knob always seemed to find its way to my ring and come away with a scratch or two

Yep, I was a butcher for 30 years and it is a mini replica of a SWIBO DIAMOND had it give to me by a rep back in 1978.

Gear knob arrived today.

Managed to remove the old one without too much difficulty....and no injuries
Sat on the centre console with a foot in either footwell. Two hands and off it popped without too much of a fight

New one fitted...looks great

Dreadful comms from the site but the item looks really nice....and is heavy!

This looks great! I'll definitely get this when I'm back in a Zed.

is it noticeably heavier than the zhp gear knob? I had that in my last one I believe and I wouldn't mind something abit heavier

I'm not sure how it compares weight wise to the ZHP. I'm sure I read a post, possibly on another forum (sorry!!) that it was, but the ZHP was weighted enough. And the extra cost for the SW model, wasn't necessary.
I've still not driven the car with the new knob fitted but it does look great.

Looks great, but when it gets properly cold you might wish it was heated!
