Anyone got one of these in their Z4? I know the ZHP are very popular but liked the look of this little chap and wondered if anyone else had fitted it plus had a picture they could share? Any issues with it?

Lovely gearknob, although I like the leather ///M knob with the ///M Steering Wheel.

Pure coincidence, but I bought one of these this evening - been after one for ages (genuine BMW, but very hard to track one down).

It's the "short shift" type with the metal collar - similar to bmwZ has fitted to his ESS supercharged beauty.

BMW Performance gear knob looks good too. But can it be fitted to Zed, or just 1 and 3 series?
 
They all fit the same, as its just pull and go :wink: Or pull and punch yourself in the face :rofl:
 
i just bought the Genuine ZHP Short Shift knob like bmwanglers pic. (gets delivered today) cant wait! now to avoid the inevitable black eye :scratchhead:

FYI - they are available from http://www.leatherz.com for $65US + postage. best deal i could find.

The Storm Knob looks good too, but I used to have a Momo Aluminium knob, and could hardly touch it on a sunny day! :fuelfire:
 
On ebay there is a BMW garage selling them for £45 new. They are the clubsport e46 gearknob in the UK :)
 
Thanks for the picture that looks very nice. Thats the V1 though yes? Theres a V2 on the website but presumably they all fit the same?
 
Braved the cold and fitted the ZHP Gear knob today. I think it balances well the black ///M steering wheel and Ali dash?
