So, this was close. Anyone else had a near miss?

Close, but no cigar.
It will escape one day....

That looks almost like an aero foil, possibly some downforce going on there?

I should have flown back from the Canaries three days ago But am being held hostage by Dennis in a beach front suite all expenses paid by easyJet (who have otherwise been useless). They can offer no return flights for six days! So yes, I'm suffering! 😉

We’ve still got no power. The joys of overhead supply.

Oh boo hoo!

Daughter and O/H should be in southern Spain , with his parents, who have been there a month, yesterday. But Easyjet stopped anything from Gatwick yesterday and now they are here with us for a week and the fridge is already empty :? To be honest , I am glad they arent wandering around an airport collecting germs .

Apparently EasyJet aren't playing by the rules. They are meant to put you on any available flight even from another carrier. They only seem to want to use their own though. Wonder why

I stupidly left a bedroom window slightly open yesterday evening whilst putting up a curtain pole, as I forgot to turn the heating off and it was roasting in there.

Cue me walking out of the room and the wind suddenly decided it wanted to take my window off the frame  luckily the window is fine, it just blew right open, but in the process it snapped the 'wide open easy clean' fixings, so now I'm going to have to start cleaning that window the old fashioned way :headbang:

I flew in from Austria yesterday without problems (landing at midday at LGW). EasyJet had cancelled their flights but I happened to go with TUI that was flying as usual. No idea why EasyJet was cancelling everything though.

We were staying in a little wooden pod in South West Cornwall last two nights. Friday was fine, but woke up at 2 with the thing actually rocking in the wind! The cracking and snapping in the trees behind us then kept us awake. Decided it was safer to wait out out rather than try driving back in it.

Also made sure the zed was parked up away from trees or debris 😉

OP, you missed a bullet there!

But it looks like it worked out best for Ewazix.

Drove through it Friday night & Saturday to the other side of Berlin... wet, windy but not quite the Cairngorns

Assuming it's a pvc window it's an easy fix.

Most modern windows use a 17mm stack hinge but you can get away with putting some packers under the 13mm stacks

The Zed has stayed tucked up this weekend.

Me I've been walking on the moors as usual. :D

Tis just weather.
