Guys
Just wondered if a car was in storage - would it still need servicing ..? Or just when it comes out of storage to get every thing double checked and ship shape ...?!!!!!

It wouldn't need servicing, as such, because it's not being used, but you need to take certain precautions to ensure that the car will come to no harm by being laid up. IMO, it's far better to give the car an occasional good run when its dry. Do a Google for plenty of advice.

Anyway, what are we both doing on here?

Depernds how long the car is to be stored for, it would be best to run the fuel out as petrol sours over time, remove the sparkplugs a squirt of two stroke oil down the bores, elevate the car so that the wheels are off the ground leave windows slightly open to allow air to circulate,,, obviously washed and dried before. remove the battery

Just a few things sure there are a few more, dont think it needs servicing, just a going over. I would also consider a carcoon

i store mine every winter and service it yearly....... but i guess winter is classed as "short term" really..... i dont do anything just car cover/ trickle charger and forget about it..... every year it comes out working perfectly fine....
