Stone Chip on V Spoke Alloy

Have anyone on the forum seen this. My car is going in to the main dealer to check that the corrosion in my Alloy was caused by a stone chip and not degradation. The wheels are under 2 years old and all 4 where replaced under warranty with a similar issue! All degrading around the centreF5B388C4-3BE4-425F-952E-761873E73496.jpeg
 
As I understand when you get chips in the lacquer it exposes them to water ingress. Not a defect but the result of chip.

I may be wrong through and in sure the experts will be along shortly
 
With the wheel rotating as if the car was going forward is this on the leading edge?

If so they will probably argue stone chip.
