Stolen: Honda Civic Type R

Hope no one minds me posting this up but a close friend of mine had his car carjacked yesterday. :(

Details are:

Honda Civic Type R - X14 VKM. Carjacked in East London near Upney Train Station.

I have the autolock enabled in my Z for this very reason.

Gives u 1 extra second to react if someone goes for the doors & why I NEVER pull up close to the car infront
 
Carjacked by definition is that he was in it and was "asked" to leave.

Auto lock is - drive away locking, above 20 mph or so, the doors just lock by themselves.
 
Oh right...that's pretty awful. Is usually done by other people in a nearby car or pedestrians? How can I get this auto lock function then?
 
Program function in the car. Either done by dealer or indi with the right equipment.

I'm a girl not a chap and i don't have intravee so will look for an indy to do various key programming unless its possible to get the software yourself? btw how does insurance work for these situations? Like normal theft?
