I was thinking of buying this and installing this

However when checking behind the radio i noticed a free slot on the right hand side next to the cd plug looks similar but connectors reversed.

Now i know they say that media boxes plug into the cd port so you loose cd and then have media box but is there a way to connect the box to the free slot and still retain cd player ?
