Sticky steering

Mine also creaks a bit when I'm pulling off our drive.... don't even want to consider stripping and re-greasing as don't know if it's easy to do yourself? Can this be done in the cockpit by removing panels around the steering??

I found a DIY on another forum where a mechanic installed a grease fitting in the EPS unit and has apparently stopped his sticky steering.

This is good news indeed. I'm slightly concerned about what may happen if you force too much grease into the case. But to install a proper relief port, you probably have to remove the column. The fact this mod can be done in situ is brilliant! Looking forward to more success stories.
