Sticky cover up patches -long shot!

Hi Everyone,

Got a small, perfectly round dent in my rear bumper - looks like someone reversed into it with a round headed bolt sticking out of their car! Depth is only 1mm or so, so bumper isn't cracked. It actually looks like a smaller version of a rear parking sensor! - located about 20cm from the end of the rear numberplate area.

This is a long shot, but does anyone remember the colour matched stick on patches to cover small dents/scratches - think it was a new thing HOLTS came up with in the 1980's. :? Think apart from that, its going to need to go into the bodyshop.

Thanks

I know what you are talking about from memory like letraset, paint on a sheet, not sure how it worked, but pretty sure it never caught on, and I wouldnt use it. It wouldnt cover a dent just replaced damaged paint.

For better advise though you need to post a pic or two.
