Sticky CD magazine

Hello guys and Merry Christmas,ok i have the cd changer i put two discs in yesterday and now car says no magazine when i select it and magazine itself will not eject. To use the only tech term i know is it "buggered" or is there something i can do to revive the patient. thanks in advance Steve
 
I can't remember exactly how I fixed mine but I has a similar thing happen to mine, either in this car or the TT before, I can't remember. I think I kept pushing it and eventually it revived itself enough to eject. Can't remember if there is any "emergency eject" mechanism on them though.

On a funny note I read the title of this out loud in the office and it got a laugh from a few people ("sticky seedy magazine", LOL)
 
Happened to me, had to slide a pen knife down the side and wiggle the cassette around a bit, eventually popped out, so to speak..

Haven't used it since, not worth the hassle
 
Sharp rap on the front of the sticky magazine with fingertips works every time for me, gets the cd carrier out as well :)
