In my relatively basic Z4 (23i, 2011) my current stereo is the Professional without USB capability so I can only use the AUX input for my music.
I'm able to upgrade to an original Professional headunit WITH both USB and Bluetooth built-in, so my question is with the addition of the proper USB/AUX socket is it a straight swap? I ask because I'm sure I've read about having to code a new stereo into the car and although I now have the full version of Carly I can't see anywhere that mentions anything to do with the stereo system!
