That's hilarious, though how anyone finds clowns scary is beyond me, they can't run fast because of the huge feet

That's probably the only book of his I haven't read! Pet Sematary (spelled that way) scared the crap out of me!

Loved the older stuff (Cujo, Salems Lot, Skeleton Key, Talisman, It, etc.), but the newer stuff is becoming repetitive.

Next favourite is The Dark Tower books.

Not scary. Just fecking creepy, and not at all funny. Never liked them as a kid, still don't like them now.

I like some of his stuff a lot (The Dead Zone, Cell, Misery and some others) but have been disappointed at times where he develops a brilliant story line and then seems to run out of ideas halfway thorough. The remainder of the book becomes a meaningless jumble.

You've gotta love some of the films from his books.....Shawshank Redemption, Misery, Stand By Me, etc
