Steering Vibration and Steering to the left [FIXED]

Hi,

My steering vibrates at around 60mph and 80mph and the car is also steering to the left when the steering wheel is dead straight, so have to hold it slightly off centre.

A little history about the vibration... I changed my front tires and got an alignment done. The vibration issue then started. I went back and they told me I needed to change my bushes and this is why it's virating. To be fair it did so I didn't think twice to disagree. I've now had my bushes changed and my mechanic got the tracking done (not sure if there is any difference with alignment or tracking is just the same), but I've still got the vibration.

With the steering being off is this only because the alignment is off or is there a possibility that it could also be something else?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Pedram

If you've changed the bushes, and not had the alignment done, it could well be that. There's also a fair chance whoever fitted the tyres didn't weight the wheels properly so they're out of balance. Pretty simple fix, a) get four wheel alignment done, b) get all tyres re-balanced.

If that doesn't solve it, there's a far bigger issue.

Forgot to update this...

Car is now sorted. If anyone needs a recommendation for a very good alignment place in West London then I recommend The Alignment Centre. They did such a great job. They really know their stuff... £130 (cash).
