I recently retrofitted cruise-control to my '04 roadster using the full retrofit kit from BMW. This came with a new lower steering column cowling with the extra cutout so I now have a spare cowling without the cutout that I don't really want to keep.
You can actually buy the cruise-control stalk for about £80 (rather than £130ish for the full kit) so maybe someone would like this cowling to have a go at cutting it out themselves without having to risk damaging their current one.
I don't really want any money for it, so if someone wants to take a Dremel to it, its all theirs... Then you can give your old cowling away to someone else and the world will be a better place (or you could sell it to make a profit if you're particularly mean spirited :? )

In addition to the above, the retrofit kit also came with a bag of wiring and connectors that I presume are for cars that aren't pre-wired for cruise-control. There were no instructions included so I can't say much more than that but if someone thinks they need them, they're free to a good home (PM me if you want me to take a photo).
