Hi,
after dropping the car off this morning I was offered a 120d as a loaner by the stealership.
I have never driven a BMW Diesel, but i had heard great things about the 163bhp power plant in the previous 120d model. Being a 2009 I was curious what it would drive like.
All i can say, what a car. Acceleration is rapid. Not neck breaking, but for a car that looks mundane it can easily embarrass a few cars i think.
Once remapped i think the thing would fly. God only knows what a standard/remapped 123d or a 135i feels like!!!
Its on the list of cars for the wife. I will at looking at 2007 reg cars nextyear. Or even a 2006 fully specced 163bhp example if i want to keep within budget.
40-50MPG + remap + rear-wheel drive = No brainer for her 120 mile daily commute
Great cars..
