Anyone know how to remove the starter motor from 3.0si N52 engine?

Mines starting to make a noise every so often, so going to try and grease it up before I have to pay a fortune for a new one.

Any advise welcome :D

Cheers!

Bump, might tackle this myself. Just wondering if intake manifold needs to be pulled and which tools are required?

Yes, pull the manifold. You need a torque wrench and some way to measure angle of rotation for the aluminium single use bolts. The bolts take an external torx socket, not sure what size. Torque the bolts to 20Nm, then turn the long bolt an additional 180 deg, the short one 90 deg. No other special tools, just the usual shop tools are used. Mostly from TIS, haven't actually done this myself.
