Starter Motor Question (Compatability)

Hello fellow Z gang members,

My starter motor has finally crapped out on me today, stranding me in the middle of nowhere.
I'm looking at this starter motor for my car:

However, I'm wondering if it'll fit any model of Z4?

It should do. Looks like the unit I installed in my Zed. Plus on the comparability it lists the e85 and e46 so I’d say it’s a safe bet.

Plus surely you can return it if it doesn’t fit (advertised incorrectly).

Quick check on Realoem site shows part numbers as fitted to a 06/2007 2.5
