Hmm very interesting point about the level of charge. I thought it would be a linear thing ie 1V equivalant to ~ 10% ; 7v = 50% etc etc

From what do you get this info ?

Certainly not linear at all and why it confuses when stating that a 11.5v battery is near dead.
