Start voltage

Fitted a volt meter as part of my seat heating mod.

Interesting on start 11 odd volts, takes a few seconds to show 14+ volts, alternator on.
During the start the idle is slightly rough, rpm hunts, till the alternator kicks in, then runs smooth.
Anyone else notice this.

Just had another call back letter, re the power lead replacement, i haven't had done.

What is the voltage pre cranking and how long has the car been unused before that?

No letter here either!
I don't know if the rectification applies to all models?

Snap, fitted one with built in usb sockets but mounted mine in the dash.

Reads 11.7, crank, stays 11.7 for about 4-5 seconds. Rpm wobbles. Then voltage hits 14.2, engine runs smooth at tickover.
