Starlings and Lobster Pots!

Hello,

Not been out photographing much recently, just been a bit busy!

Anyway, decided to take the BMW out for a drive today seeing as it's not left the garage for a couple of weeks and ended up at Mudeford Quay, near Christchurch, Dorset. The Quay is working one, and is home to several fishing boats and lots of lobster pots.

Several starlings had decided to make the lobster pots home and were surprisingly tame. I was only shooting with my 16-85mm VR lens and managed to get up really close. Here are a few of the better ones.

I live just by Mudeford quay :wink:

The starlings are so tame they will actually sit on & eat from your hand!
It's a lovely place, especially in the summer :thumbsup:

Cool, a lovely place to live. Nice bike! There were a few down there when I was there. I live in Lymington so not far.

Sorry, in the car park. Not an interesting photo of the car I'm afraid. Kind of thought it was just a general gallery, not just Z4 related!
