Standard 6-speaker Upgrade?

Got the standard 6 speaker setup and head unit (with nav) in my car and miss the 10 speaker sound I had in my old coupe.

Know I’m not going to get anything similar without adding more speakers, an amp, subs etc - but what is the easiest way to improve the sound in my car with replacement speakers? Any recommendations for plug-and-play units? Just want a bit more bass and mid-range.

I’ve upgraded my roadster with standard speakers from a 10 speaker set up:

Bass units in bins behind seats
Tweeters in doors
New door speakers
Replaced footwell

No amp- standard head unit

Much better

Doesn’t handle bass at top end well but a marked improvement

Ah, okay. This sounds like a good option. Didn’t know 10 speaker setup was separate amp-free.
