Well I'm glad I installed this as it has a Dash Cam as yesterday I got sideswiped ona two lane slip road entry to the M20. They managed to damage every panel and my alloys and just kept driving. Fortunately I have it all on video including their number plate. Gutted at the damage as had the car exactly as I wanted.

So heard back from bodyshop and shock absorber knocked out of spec so needs replacing which means the steering rack needs replacing according to BMW procedure. Two alloy wheels to be repaired, one tyre, door mirror cap replacement, bumper repainted, bonnet, door and rear quarter scratch and dent repair. Thank goodness for insurance

I was honestly expecting to see write off in that sentence somewhere. Good you’ve got sorted out and the dash cam helped you out
