Squeaky front suspension

I've noticed lately with the roof down my front suspension is really squeaky over slow speeds and uneven surfaces. Speed bumps are ok if hit dead on, but if at an angle for example it will creak/squeak.

It's driving me up the wall....... I'm thinking bushes, but is there anything I can do to prove this?

Thanks

Can't help if it is bushes - though if they are worn to squeaking point surely you'd feel it it he handling of the car ?

A lot of people get creaks from the firewall braces being slightly loose - the two braces under the bonnet that go from the suspension towers and meet in the middle at the screen. You could try tightening the securing nuts up and see if that helps ? Certainly helped me. They need to be torqued correctly though as they are easily sheared. I cannot remember the torque setting, but you could do a search or wait till someone on here gives the answer. I think I remember cj10jeeper posting it recently.

Thanks. I've already had a go doing that on a flat surface and it wasn't the culprit. It doesn't knock, just creaky side to side

I don't get a creaking noise, I get a sort of soft exhailing of air...

a kind of psss when I'm going over speed bumps etc...

kind of odd, never heard anything like it, and I'm pretty sure my struts are oil filled, not air...

I think the exhaling of air sound is the driveshafts....... I'm curious is there any process of elimination I can go through? For example spray the bushes in these locations etc?
