Spy shots of new generation BMW i8

What are BMW doing no big power motors, looks like the next future top of the range car will have an 850 cc engine (the new 'M') :lol:
 
Wonder how many electric charge points you'd find on a road trip? :lol:

220bhp isn't much without the electric motors adding power.... for £150k

Working for a well known Sat Nav company I can tell you that trying to source information on Electric Vehicle Charging stations is a nightmare. it's so fragmented, there is little in the way of national coverage in any country, you would think that someone like BP or Tesco would look to introduce 'Quick Charge' stations.
 
Yep, didnt think information would be readily available for charging points. No doubt that'll be the next thing we start seeing in supermarket car parks. 'Charge while you shop...' :lol:

i think it looks great for a prius. 220hp without electric doesnt sound bad for normal driving but theres proberly a few hours of fun with electric on

wonder if it would work like a kers system??
