Sputter Advice...(Newbie)

Good day gentlemen.

My name is Chad, although referred to by friends and family as "Racer". As much of you may see by my "Joined Date", i'm pretty much a newbie to the forum.

So my story goes:

Just got myself an E85 3.0 Auto as its something I've always wanted. Just yesterday however i experienced something I've never before experienced...

My "Zed" started up fine as usual but when engaging reverse it began to misfire/sputter. While stationary and in Neutral the misfire seem to have disappeared. In drive As I approach a traffic light it seems to misfire again while applying brakes and coming to a complete stop. I pulled off into a fuel station turned off the car and started up again. This time noticing the Engine Light Burning, I engaged drive and again the misfire. All gears seem to be working fine though whilst driving. I did however notice the expansion tank bottle had a slight crack in it and seemed to be dripping water down the side onto the Auto Cooler (I assume), located just below. Not sure if this has anything to do with the issue but I guess its worth mentioning. I've checked all spark plugs and coils...They're fine.

Perhaps someone has been down this road before and could share some light. Desperate for an answer.

Thank you gents...

Hi, with an engine light illuminated the best course of action is always to get the code with a code reader, it's just guesswork otherwise which can be very expensive!
If you got your car from a garage they should help you with this problem?

Get yourself a code reader and copy of INPA - cheaper than a visit to have them read and will save you in the long run. If you have breakdown cover you could call them to come and read for free though?

Good day gents.

Just an update on my problem should some else experience the same issue.
I'd purchased an OBD reader and it seemed that the coil six was intermittent.
Replaced it and "drive sputter gone"

Found a good Indy that hooked up an OBD machine and set all lights to factory. ABS, Tyre light and triangle with exclamation still burning due to the Steering Angle Sensor. Has any one ever cheap fixed the SAS?
