Springs: oem or alternative?

Hello,

I have E85 2003 Z4 with optional M Sport suspension (original BMW one). My rear spring broken and I'm wondering what to do as the OEM springs are ridiculously expensive. I see couple of options:

1. Buy used OEM ones - PM me if you have rear ones
2. Buy some aftermarket 1:1 replacement - Lesjofors will be ok?
3. Buy Eibach ProKit -30mm (so for me -15mm as M Sport suspension which is 15mm less than) normal suspension - in my city there are low quality bumpy roads with ruts and holes, won't it be bad idea to lower even already low suspension?
4. Maybe some other ideas :)?

P.S. Sorry for doubling, formerly I posted on "M" Specific section as I though that it's also for normal Z4 with M Sport suspension. I think there will be more person that had the same problem.

This is an interesting one as although my springs have not broken yet  I have the same spec as this chap with a 2003 model with the "M" sport set up from the factory, and would really be interested to hear what options are available and of course the costs? I've looked at some of the after market options and I'm totally baffled

I also have a 2003 roadie with m-sport suspension. One of my rear shocks was broken so I bought suplex springs from Suplex Uk after a recommendation from a member on here.
Cost approx £35 each plus vat.
Fitted them myself yesterday and seem fine but time will tell.

Probably it broke when at big hole in road. I've heard very strange noise and ~500km later when I was at service station I saw that one spring is broken :(

Hi, what did the new springs do to the ride height? Are they the same as the M sport springs or lower :?

Where did you found it for 35? Is height of the car the same?

They're the same ride height as msport springs and u contacted the factory in Sheffield (very helpful) who gave me my local stockist. Local stockist sets the price.
