Springs and Spacers

Hello All,

I've been looking into springs and spacers for my 35i, in an attempt to get the fitment of the 326M wheels slightly more 'aggressive'.

For the springs, I've found the Eibach Pro-Kit, which will lower the front by 20mm and the rear by 10mm. These are sold by M Style.

For the spacers, I've found a set of front and back spacers by Bimecc. Perhaps 10mm on the front and 12mm on the rear, these also come with the extended wheel bolts and locking bolts. Also sold by M Style.

If anyone has experience doing something similar, or even better a picture of their car and fitment that would be cool! 8)

I have gone 20mm rear and the fronts only needed 5mm… I’m looking at lowering options currently and think a bit more than you are suggesting tbh

I've been looking into the B14 kit and the BC coilovers, I think I'm just going to go the whole hog and get a set of coilovers from the get go!

Regarding the spacers, is it true that it puts additional strain on the suspension and related components?

As long as it’s less than 20mm than the extra strain is well within limits ..simply based now on decades of BMW E90s doing this..

Just to clarify to do you mean 20mm or less or anything less than 20mm but not 20mm?

If I had seen alloys that were ET 45 and 50, I could add 20mm spacers to each?

Not an exact science …20mm I think is the max I’d use personally ..prefer 5-10mm
