Spotting a 'Sport' from a 'SE' - Coupe

I am in the market for a second had 'Sport' and I will be looking at a private sale 'Sport' this week. With this in mind I wondered if there was anything to tell me that it is a 'Sport' and not an 'SE'? Is there anything visable a Sport has that an SE doesn't

TIA
Kevin

Hi there Kevin! Nice to see you here. :) Hope you find a Z that you like.

The Sport has different wheels as standard that cannot be specced in the SE as far as the brochure goes (these are the two 18" models, the star-two pieces and the M double-spoke).

The Sport should also have the black steering wheel with the M logo (instead of the one in black/alu).

Best thing for you to do is stop by any BMW dealer and get a brochure. That details all the bits that are standard on either the 3.0si or the Sport models as they are the same for coupe and roadster.

Hi there! Am sure tehdarkstar is correct about the spec... on a side note, I remember you from the tt-forum... I used to frequent that board when I had the TTC. Welcome :D

Just looked at the pics he sent and it has that too. Excellent.

I had a quick look online and thats what convinced me the 'Sport' was the better choice for me, however as all the things I prefer are mechancial e.g. M suspension etc, I thought I'd quicklly ask. You've answered it though hopefuly, unless there is anything else that indicates a 'Sport'.

:)
